Ordering


  • How does an order look on my credit card statement?

    It will be displayed as Crafts by TheChainedWolfCrafts

  • Do you offer discreet packaging?

    The packages are shipped out in black mailer bubbles or black boxes. The business name is not on the shipping lable or on the package.

  • How long does it take for my item to ship?

    At TheChainedWolfCrafts, I hand make every item at the time of the order. Therefore, each item will vary depending on the item ordered and how many items are in the order. On average, I finish my orders in 1-4 days. However, I do have a two-week processing time; with full custom orders, the time will potentially be longer.

  • What happens if I have finished an order and you would like to change the colors

    I am happy to do this; however, I need to charge my labor fees to change it. I won't charge for the materials used on the prior finished order. This can be discussed at the time; each design has a different creation time. On average, it takes 2-4 hours.


Shipping


  • Shipping confirmation and tracking

    Once the label has been created, a shipping tracking number will be emailed to you. Please allow 24-48 hours for this to update. 

  • Returned packages

    If a package fails to be delivered due to the wrong address being provided, it is the customer's responsibility to cover shipping and handling. I will send an email to inform you that a package has been returned. 

  • Late or lost packages

    I provide tracking numbers on all orders, which includes proof of delivery by the USPS shipping courier. If a package is lost during transit, a case will be opened with the post office; if the package is not found within a 30-business day period, I will send a replacement. No replacement will be sent without a completed investigation.

    There will be a 60-day period for tracking the package for international shipments before a replacement is processed. Due to the cost of international shipping, customers are responsible for reshipment costs.

  • Customs, duties, and taxes

    TheChainedWolfCrafts is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees are imposed upon arrival and are the responsibility of the customer. (Tariffs, taxes, vats, etc.)

  • Shipping delays

    I am not in control of the package once it has been passed off to USPS. If a package has not arrived yet please just contact me, and I will see what's going on, but the tracking number will show what I see as well. No refunds are given for delayed shipment. If a package is lost, then I will open an investigation with the post office. A new item will not be offered until the case has been resolved or the package is found.


Sizing


  • How an item is measured

    Items are measured from end to end; this includes locks and any other closure selected with the order. 

  • Picking the proper size

    Each item has the sizing details on the page and there is a section to confirm the proper measurements have been added to ensure fit.

  • Alterations

    If you accidentally ordered the wrong size and it does not fit, I allow alterations. They start at $25 and will go up depending on how much needs to be added. 

    It is the customer's responsibility to ship it back with a tracking number and adequately protected in the mail. Any damages incurred by the shipping are the customer's responsibility to cover. If a tracking number is not provided, I am not responsible for lost packages. No refund or replacement will be offered.

Custom Orders


  • Do you do custom designs?

    Yes! I love doing custom orders, send me an email or contact me on my TikTok, Etsy, or Instagram to go over your ideas. I will send you a full quote before I proceed.

  • Do you allow exchanges or cancelations of custom orders?

    Due to the nature of custom orders, I do not allow cancelations once I have begun the work. I do not allow exchanges either. There is a three-day grace period where an order may be canceled but only if the work has not already begun.

  • Custom and personalized orders

    Custom orders that are beyond the design offered have a minimum $20 added charge. An example is the three-tone Full Persian. I can do 3+ colors, but it changes the design into an entirely custom piece. 

  • Terms of service

    All orders are posted on Tiktok and Instagram; please leave me your tag if you want to be featured in a video or post. 

    With custom orders, I may replicate it to use in future sales. 


Return Policy


  • Do you allow returns?

    All Sales are final; I do not accept refunds. 

    This is because each item is handcrafted at the time of the order; there is no in-house stock. Each item is made directly at the time of the order. 

    If you have mismeasured, I am happy to make adjustments starting at $25, plus the customer will cover shipping to and from. 

    Leather collars will not be accepted for returns due to the nature of the precise measurements to make them. Please contact me with questions regarding sizing; if you need help, thank you.

  • Do you accept exchanges?

    If you are unhappy with the item after recieving the image of the final product I do offer to remake it. The client is responsible for the labor rates for the new item but will not be charged for the materials. 

    This strictly applies to chain only, all other products are not able to be exchanged or changed once it has been made or started.

  • Do you allow cancelations?

     I do not allow cancelations once I have begun the work. The client has three days to contact me to cancel an order before the sale becomes final. Or if the item has been started there is no cancelation allowed.


Warranty


  • Warranty Policy

    I stand behind my designs and greatly care that they are durable and stand up to time. I have a warranty of 60 days as long as care is followed per each design listed. Some designs can be yanked on, whereas others are purely decoration. If the product was mishandled per recommendations, I do not cover that. I will still allow repairs in these cases. 

    Locks and closures are not covered under the warranty.


Care Instructions


  • Care Instructions

    Anodized aluminum is very easy to take care of, warm water and soap with a gentle brush (toothbrushes work great), and they are good to go.

  • Can this be worn 24/7?

    Yes! I wear one every day, and I do not remove it for anything. They are comfortable and don't pinch. I don't even realize I have it on anymore unless I start to play with it. I would recommend not showering with Locks as I am unsure how the mechanics will stand up to the water over time, being unable to dry them properly.

  • Is this allergy-friendly?

    Yes! Anodized aluminum is hypoallergenic; it contains no nickel. In rare cases, people can be allergic to the anodized coating, but it is extremely rare. I stand behind this material for allergy-friendly as well as able to provide reviews from others with metal allergies being able to safely wear these.

  • Lock Materials

    All of my locks are made of Alloy, over time this can mean the coloring on the metal may change or oxidize. I buy locks that are nickel and lead-free. I double-check with the manufacturers before I offer them. If you run into an issue please let me know. 

    I do not replace broken or oxidized locks if it has been longer than two weeks. However, I am willing to work with you if you run into a problem later down the road and handle each situation independently depending on what happened.
